If the blog postings are few and far between...it could be because we are very busy.
Currently we are tackling these projects:
- Cut down live oak tree that was buckling neighbors fence
- Replace our existing fence with a new wooden one
- Tear out wood deck and bridge and replace with flagstone patio
- Replace hail damaged roof
I got tired typing the list! Our landscaper Miguel and team began the demolition yesterday and made good progress....They also un-lodged our resident opossum....and relocated it to another location...not sure of where, but they told us that although it is eaten in Mexico...the American ones do not taste good as they "eat too much dirt"....("Coma la tierra")
Will keep you all in the loop as work progresses.
I'm out

I can't wait to see the finished result it's going to be awesome!
The boys are totally into the opossum pictures, although Gavin said it was gross. Logan is concerned because I said I would'nt move it I would kill it (well not me personally, but you know...) So now Ryan and his save the animal protests is giving me a hard time for saying that. In any case I need to stop about it because we are going to eat in a few minutes and I need to erase the image! :)
GROSS!!!! Fred!!! I'm sure you show everybody our yard guest. Kill it, kill it!!!
They were trying to show us the babies in the pouch when they held it up. Yuk!!!
Now it has no home (or is it in Heaven now???) We will never tell!!!
I love our improvements already. Thank You Fred!!! By the way nice Hard Hat!!!
Do opossums go to Heaven? I've always wondered about that. Seriously.
THanks for the pictures. Or not. No really, I was trying to remember where the concrete ended and the wood bagan. I am relieved you are getting rid of everything. "This ain't no animal shelter".
